Fifth annual children's art festival has passed in Novozybkov. Over 500 children from Bryansk and other regions of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine sent their works to the festival. The main part of this picture story is the gallery which contains the best works of the participants. (15 photos and 18 pictures)

The 230th anniversary of the Nikola's Old-Believers church was celebrated on September 21. Nikola's church is on of the oldest temples of Novozybkov. It plays an important role in Old-Believers world. Many guests from cities of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova arrived to take part in the celebration. (24 photos)

The program of the City Day was rich of events. The main actions were: the opening of maternity hospital, which has been reconstructed with the support of the Swedish Lions Club organization; the opening of a new bicycle track at Vokzal'naya streat and the opening of a memorial sign in honour of Rostislav Alekseev - the famous inventor of high-speed courts vessels who was born in Novozybkov. Of course, traditional concerts and processions also took place. (44 photos)

Christmas of the Virgin church is the oldest temple of Novozybkov. Unfortunately, it has been almost completely destroyed. More than a year ago the restoration works has been started by the local people. (13 photos)

The festival took place in Novozybkov on June 4-6 at the second time. Five folk theatres from the neighbour regions of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine arrived in Novozybkov to show their performances. (33 photos)

Traditional spring improving running took place in Novozybkov on May 5. Besides sportsmen hundreds of townspeople took part in it. Even the City Mayor Ivan Nesterov has run the total distance. (12 photos)
